Shipping policy

1. Hand-Forged Lead Times Every piece at The Texas Forge is engineered and forged to order in our Texas facility. Our standard production lead time is 6–8 weeks. You will receive an email notification with tracking information once your order has been dispatched from the forge.

2. Freight Delivery Method Due to the weight and scale of our heirloom steel frames, all orders ship via LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight.

  • Standard Delivery: Includes curbside delivery with liftgate service. The carrier will call you to schedule a delivery window. You must be present to receive and sign for the shipment.

  • White Glove Delivery: If selected at checkout, this includes inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, and debris removal. Note that White Glove fees are non-refundable once the service has been scheduled.

3. The "Golden Rule" of Inspection You are responsible for inspecting the shipment before signing the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL).

  • If you see damage: Note the specific damage on the BOL (e.g., "Crate crushed," "Steel exposed") before signing.

  • If damage is severe: Refuse the shipment entirely and contact us at hello@thetexasforge.com immediately.

  • Note: Once a BOL is signed "Clear" or without noted damage, we cannot hold the carrier liable for transit-related repairs.

4. Shipping Locations We currently ship to the contiguous United States. For shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations, please contact us for a custom quote.

5. Change of Address Address changes made after a shipment has been dispatched will incur a re-consignment fee charged by the carrier.
